We were privileged to be involved in the launch of the John Wayne western HONDO on Video in the UK in 1995, especially because it came from BATJAC which was still operated at the time by Michael Wayne. The Film quickly rose to Number 1 in the sell-through UK Video charts,and we were then approached by Polygram who were launching a series of John Wayne Videos and asked us to be involved in the Sales Campaign and Promotion.These relatively high profile promotions brought the Society to the attention of a wide audience and the membership base grew considerably during this time  - Click Here to join the John Wayne Film Society
